FabCafe – Laser Cutting with Latte – Japan

I am loving the concept of latte’s and laser cutting by the aptly named cafe – Fab Cafe -( meaning fabulous and fabrication). As a designer I frequently need a laser cutter and this would be a service I would definitely be interested in. The cafe space was designed by Naruse Inokuma and is owned by digital and media group LoftWork is a social hub for designers and architects alike. Offering power and free WI FI and for a fee you can use the laser cutter which cuts vector files onto your chosen media, whilst sipping a Latte or indeed their signature drink Marshmallow Latte. The cafe is a fabulous concept which I’m sure will catch on globally sooner rather than later.
